Thanks to Raffles for alerting me to this. The Waldorf Astoria London Syon Park, where rooms are often in excess of ?150 at their advanced purchase rate, will be rebranded as “Hilton London Syon Park” at some point during March 2013.
There is a message on the front page of the hotel's website to notify customers of this change.
I took a quick search for a Sunday evening stay at the end of March, and it's coming out cheap at ?90. This one's a great deal, especially if you can get the free breakfasts with free Hilton Gold status.
I'd expect the rooms' decor to be changed to standard Hilton finishings at some point too.
Given that I live on the wrong side of London, and soon to be wrong country, I doubt I'll stay in this one for a while, but fingers crossed for some sort of rebranding promotions nonetheless. Watch this space.
