There are some truly outstanding fares available for the low season between Christmas and beginning of January. For many British Airways Executive Club members this is your chance to cross your fingers and hope for good Tier Point running opportunities.
I presume the fares are being loaded for Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but they are showing up already in British Airways Low Fare Finder.
Price:
2 tickets for £2016 / €2378 / $2506, or approximately £1300 round trip if bought for one passenger (Around 65% of the price of 2 tickets).
Don't forget you can still use the 10% Diamond Club discount if you have it! (Perhaps this is its swansong?) As it only applies to the base fare and not fuel surcharges or taxes, you can expect a further£50-70 off.
A typical non-stop round trip long haul business class would give 280 Tier Points for your British Airways Executive Club. But for destinations in USA and Canada, the codeshares with American Airlines create some truly decent Tier Point opportunities. Adding in a domestic AA First Class connection each way would boost it to 400 Tier Points per ticket. Add two connections you would reach 520 Tier Points!

They are not quite true Tier Point run material as those would need to have west-coast USA destinations but it still represents some of the cheapest long haul business class fares I have seen in a while.
Note that any domestic USA connections in American Airlines First Class should credit with the full 60TP for flights under 2000 miles, as long as your flights take place before 12th January 2017.
