18 Avios per £1 spent on chocolate! Up to triple Avios in British Airways eStore for UK residents.

With only six weeks until Christmas the Avios eStore is ramping up its promotions for BAEC Members. Between now until 22 December 2019 several retailers are either doubling or tripling the amount of Avios awarded for online purchases.

Double Avios retailers

The following shops are awarding double Avios and at the following rates:

  • John Lewis: Up to 4 Avios/£1 (up from 2)
  • Harrods: Up to 12 Avios /£1 (up from 6)
  • Sonos: 10 Avios/£1 (up from 5)
  • Adidas: 12 Avios/£1 (up from 6)
  • Mr Porter: 12 Avios/£1 (up from 6)

Triple Avios retailers

At the more interesting end, the following are offering triple Avios, with up to 18 Avios per £1 in a few instances.

  • M&S: 6 Avios/£1 (up from 2)
  • Selfridges: Up to 18 Avios/£1 (up from 6)
  • NET-A-PORTER: Up to 18 Avios/£1 (up from 6)
  • Fortnum & Mason: 15 Avios/£1 (up from 5)
  • Argos: 3 Avios/£1 (up from 1)
  • Lego: 15 Avios/£1 (up from 5)
  • The White Company: 9 Avios/£1 (up from 3)
  • Currys PC World: 6 Avios/£1 (up from 2)
  • Apple: 9 Avios/£1 (up from 3)
  • ASOS: 9 Avios/£1 (up from 3)
  • Lookfantastic: 15 Avios/£1 (up from 5)
  • Groupon: 18 Avios/£1 (up from 6)
  • Notonthehighstreet: 12 Avios/£1 (up from 4)
  • Hotel Chocolat: 18 Avios/£1 (up from 6)

Check the terms and condition of each retailer carefully because some give Avios based on the inc. VAT price and other give based on ex. VAT.

Also don't forget that nearly everything bought online has a 14 day ‘cooling off period' if you decide to change your mind. Obviously you will also forfeit any Avios gained in those instances, but if you are in the habit of buying Thanksgiving, Black Friday or Christmas gifts around this busy period then make sure you don't lose out on any cheap Avios you could gain through the eStore .
