Qatar Airways QSuite window seat
Good deals

Great fare: QSuites Sweden – Singapore £1365 / €1500. LOADS of availability!

It's been a while since we posted one of Qatar Airways' ‘aggressive' discount fares, but a couple are on offer.

The one which will probably appeal the most, given its easier reach for the majority of PTBM's readers is from Stockholm although other starting points such as Sofia, Bulgaria do yield cheaper fares. (Credit to God Save the Points for this tip)

You must book via Qatar Airways' Sweden page (English or other languages exist of course!) but you can snag Stockholm – Singapore for around £1365 or €1500.

QSuite – one of the best business class seats, anywhere

Qsuite is quite possibly the most luxurious way to travel in business class and if you fly from Stockholm on flight QR171 or QR172, they will feature on your aircraft. (See pictures below, or click them  to be taken to the official Qsuite page.)

And if you travel as a group of four you can optionally go in ‘conference' arrangement.

Tier Points

Each of these routes offer 560 Tier Points which is very close to BA Silver which requires 600 Tier Points (and 4 flights on BA or Iberia). At £2.24 it's certainly a great price per Tier Point although not quite pure TP run material. Also see this post which describes some strategies for finding mega TP Run routes.

If you happen to go via Sofia this is the most marginal 2000+ route in existence. But you'll still get the full 140TP nonetheless, but getting QSuite product is a bit hit-and-miss.

Travel dates

There is wide open availability between now and September next year.

Also of note you can use the discount code MECENAT to shave a further 10% off the base fare and get an extra piece of luggage.

Remember to use Qatar Airways' Swedish offers page to find the fares.

One Comment

  1. Qatar have been replacing ARN-DOH with an A350 with the previous business class seats recently so Q Suites not guaranteed.
