Which of these will be 80 Tier Point routes?

The official Tier Point Earning Calculator does not yet recognise these newest routes, so for now we can only speculate whether they will be class as short haul (earning 40TP each way in Club Europe) or ‘short haul plus' (earning 80TP).

Certainly 80 Tier Points

All routes from London to Greece and Turkey are already 80 Tier Points as per my full list, with Rhodes and Dalaman being existing routes from previous years. I would expect Corfu and Bodrum to become 80 Tier Point routes.

Certainly 40 Tier Points

Perugia will almost certainly be a 40 Tier Point route, given it is closer to London than Rome and several other destinations which earn 40 Tier Points.

Uncertain either way

The uncertainty comes with Pristina and Podgorica. These appear to be right on the boundary.

As key references, both London – Corfu, Greece (1277 miles) London – Catania, Italy (1230 miles) and London – Helsinki, Finland (1151 miles) are all 80 Tier Point earning routes. Pristina (1181 miles) sits squarely in between these routes, which would indicate a good chance that this could be an 80TP route, though not certain.

It will probably be bad news for Podgorica though being 1120 miles from London. As a reference Tallinn, Estonia is 1126 miles from London and is a 40 Tier Point earning route. We will need to await confirmation in the Tier Point Earning Calculator though. When it does get updated I will amend my full 80 Tier Point list.
